Municipalities are significant contributors to public transportation funding. In fact, their contribution has increased steadily since the early 1990’s: in 1992, their financial participation represented on average 29% of the revenue generated by the nine ATUQ member organizations, whereas now, the financial contribution of certain municipalities greatly exceeds 40%.
